We achieved another milestone yesterday, reaching 25,000 signups. Over the last 3 months, we grew by 33% monthly, and destined to continue this level of growth over the coming months.
I want to take this opportunity to thank our users, without you we would not have got here. More than that, I want to thank our team, without whom, you would not have a product. Let me introduce some of our core Engineering team.
Asinsala Silva, joined us in mid June, which helped us to take the responsibility for product development inhouse. Previously, edocr.com was developed by an outsourcing company. Her initial task was to improve the product, which resulted in the complete overhaul of our Document Processing Engine and the Document Viewer. She is in charge of improving each functionality, one at a time.
Chamara Peiris came on board to improve the user experience, first by introducing a new home page, which helped users to easily understand our value proposition. His latest contribution is designing the Zendesk integration landing page, which we plan to launch in few days.
Andy Yelland came on board for few weeks in January and February this year to improve the performance of edocr.com. His contribution has been immense to the success of edocr.com. For the first time, web pages load under 2 seconds on edocr.com. A big thank you to Andy! If you ever need performance improvement, Andy is the man for the job!
So where do we go from here? We have refined our strategy into a simple statement, “Upload once, display anywhere”. Our role is to help our customers get the maximum out of their documents. We are helping them in three ways:
- Distribution across the Internet via public sharing, traditional emailing and search engine indexing.
- By integrating with web applications, starting with Zendesk, so that employees as well as prospects can collaborate around documents.
- Clients where documents can be accessed without visiting edocr.com
There are lot more ways to get value out of your documents through edocr.com. We are just scratching the surface at present. If you are not already on edocr.com, come join us today!
